He served over 10 years in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment and spent a combined 6 years deployed on operational missions in Panama, Operation Desert Storm, Haiti, Kosovo, Jordan, Iraq and Afghanistan.

    He culminated his service with command of U.S. Army South, overseeing actions of all Army forces operating in the Latin American region and building strategic international partnerships in support of the National Defense Strategy.
