Biography of Torsten Amft

Torsten Amft was a German fashion designer and artist.

He was born in 1971 in Leipzig, Germany, in the eastern part of the country in Saxony. Not much is known about Amft's early life, except that at the age of 17, he moved to Berlin with his own money and started working as a model.

After some time, the young man studied fashion and design at the University of Zurich in Switzerland, one of the oldest universities in Europe.

However, it was not his education that helped Torsten break into the fashion world, but his acquaintance with the famous Italian clothing designer Ernesto Aligieri. It was in his workshop that Torsten began to come up with ideas for clothing and bring them to life.
